Size guide for miniatures and scenics

THE size medium

All our miniatures are sized taking as reference the following general rule:

A miniature of size medium of a standing human measures 32mm from the feet to the eyes, NOT including BASE.

 

All other races are scaled proportionally following the Dungeons and Dragons RPG guideline.

Below is an explanatory image of some of the most famous races in the game universe:

• For example, the miniature of a Halfling of size medium is about 35/45% smaller than a miniature of a Human of size medium.
• Similarly the miniature of a Firbolg of size medium is about 25/30% more large than a of a Human of size medium.
• The base of a miniature of size medium will be at most large 25.4mm in diameter.

 

 

 

THE NEXT SIZES (large, HUGE, Etc.)

 

The sizes following the medium are nothing more than percentage increments of the size immediumimmediately preceding (however respecting the differences in breed height as explained above).

Therefore:

• The miniature of a human size large will be 60/65% more large than the same miniature of size medium.
• The miniature of a size HUGE human will be 65/70% more large than the same miniature of size large.
• The miniature of a size HUGE human will be 45/55% more large than the same miniature of size HUGE.

Note: the miniature of a size large Halfling will be so slightly higher than the miniature of a size medium Human.

🎨For painting we recommend at least the size large 🎨

 

The sideburns of miniatures of size large, HUGE and BIG follow the same principle of enlargement whereby:

• The BASES of size large will be at most 50mm in diameter
• HUGE size WEDBS will be at largest 75mm in diameter
• size BULKY'S BASES will be at most 100mm in diameter.
